Matthew Chipango

Before becoming an HGV driver, I was a warehouse health and safety trainer. I decided to become an HGV driver because I wanted to learn the job and later on become a truck owner.

Training was initially difficult but with time, I got used to it.

I found it difficult getting that first job because of inexperience but thanks to the team at HGV Recruitment Centre, who are specialists in finding jobs for new HGV drivers, I was placed into a big company that gave me the training I needed and the permanent position that I am now in.

The HGV Recruitment Team have been very helpful and will not hesitate to encourage a new driver to contact them.

I have now settled down well in my new role and I can’t wait for my next drive. I may end up in Brighton driving along the beautiful coast….!
