I was working on a self employed basis for several years and decided it was time for a change. I figured I enjoyed driving and what better route than to train for my HGV licenses, being a completely different career path.

I managed to pass both my HGV Class 2 and Class 1 licenses relatively quickly. The team at HGV recruitment were also in contact with me during my training and discussed opportunities, giving me advice once I pass my test.

Being new to the industry, I initially believed it difficult to find a job, but within a short period of time I was in work, working for a large reputable company, that has also provided me with the proper on road training I needed.

I am very much enjoying my new role and could not be happier!
