I was a warehouse operative working through an agency before I became an HGV driver.

I was looking for a way to earn more money and have more secure work. After getting both Class 1 & 2 licenses, I looked for work for some time but had nothing consistent, especially when I passed my Class 1.

I was temping on the agency for a few months until HGV Recruitment contacted me and told me they were looking for newly qualified drivers.

The guys I spoke to were great, easy going and made things quick and easy. Within 2 weeks I was having my assessment for a temp to perm role with a good company.

Since I started the role, I got the training I needed and now I’m out on the road and couldn’t be happier.
